All men got the right to vote after the Civil War, during Reconstruction, with the 15th Amendment in 1870. Any of these answers is acceptable.
The 15th Amendment states that the right to vote cannot be denied based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude. It was designed to give formerly enslaved Black men the right to vote.
In practice, many Southern states used poll taxes, literacy tests, and intimidation to prevent Black men from voting for nearly another century. These barriers weren't fully addressed until the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
