The President is in charge of the executive branch. The word 'executive' comes from 'execute,' meaning to carry out or enforce. The President's job is to enforce and carry out the laws that Congress makes.
The executive branch also includes the Vice President, the Cabinet (advisors like the Secretary of State and Attorney General), and federal departments and agencies like the FBI, CIA, and Department of Homeland Security.
The President serves a four-year term and can serve a maximum of two terms (because of the 22nd Amendment). The President is also the Commander in Chief of the military.
Say: 'The executive branch.'
